Wireless PIRS based around the original BS8418 D-Tect X Detectors from GJD, these latest versions all feature twin PIR (quad element piro) detector modules, stylish IP55 fully tampered housings with internal antenna rather than the old external black antenna. Units accept either 3 ‘C’ type batteries or 12-24V AC/DC, 500m RF transmission range on 868mhz and individual code for pairing to the Receiver (GJD392).

The Receiver (GJD392) can be linked in its base form to 4 detectors and this can then be expanded up to 16 detectors with the use of the GJD393 4-way Expansion Module (see schematic on the attached pdf).

The outputs available from each detector include 2 volt-free relays, 1 for the GJD lighting control system, low battery, tamper and RF loss.

The GJD397 500m Repeater Unit (see below) enables the unique GJD transmission codes to be boosted around corners or to help increase the wireless range of the detectors. As it only requires a power supply and does not need to be paired to the system, it can be easily retrofitted to an existing system.

The hand-held GJD394 Walk Tester (see below) is used by the installation engineer for the final set up of the detection patterns and its RF signal strength feature is used in surveys for checking the siting of equipment.
